Located inland from the Lighthouse Trail on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, our museum has a wealth of local heritage to share with you.
Take a walk through our Museum to see how the ancestors of our communities lived. From the Country Store to the Cobbler's Shop, experience how the people of yesteryear survived and flourished.
Hours of Operation
2026 Season: May through September
Season opens: Friday, May 1, 2026
Season closes: Friday, September 25, 2026 at noon
Also closed: July 1 (Canada Day) & Labour Day weekend (Sept 5–7)
